Scott Kelly, uno de los tuiteros más famosos de la Tierra ,no está en la Tierra, aunque orbita alrededor de ella. Y es que el veterano astronauta de la NASA, de 51 años, está actualmente a bordo de la Estación Espacial Internacional, en la cual permanecerá un año completo junto a otros cinco tripulantes. Su misión arrancó la pasada primavera por lo que su regreso a nuestro planeta está previsto para la primavera de 2016.
Sin embargo, aunque Scott Kelly es popular por sus vuelos espaciales -el primero tuvo lugar en 1999- y porque su hermano gemelo Mark E. Kelly también es astronauta, su nombre está en boca de todos por las imágenes que toma desde el espacio y sube a la red social Twitter con su cuenta @StationCDRKelly.
La espectacularidad de las fotografías, como la de la aurora boreal que subió el pasado 28 de agosto o la delas frutas flotando en el interior de la EEI del pasado día 25, no han hecho sino incrementar su número de seguidores y su fama crece por horas. De hecho, cuelga numerosas fotos cada día y sigue una especie de diario con una imagen cada nueva jornada encabezada por el número de días que lleva en órbita.
